Significant Collaborations

Sam is a marine biologist with a diverse background that encompasses both laboratory and field experience. He spent 8 years combining learning the art of macrobenthic species identification with his PhD studies before moving on to varied laboratory, field and reporting roles. Having supported various marine environmental projects Sam moved on to laboratory management positions, managing macrobenthic, sediment and microbiology teams across multiple sites in the UK. Building on these positions, Sam assumed a broad environmental commercial role at a major survey contractor, successfully supporting clients’ projects within Europe, America, Asia and Africa before joining NatureMetrics in 2021.
